Leadership Coach Reacts: Tik Tok CEO Must Walk Funny!

On 19 May 2021, an open letter was issued by Zhang Yiming to all employees at ByteDance, owner of TikTok, that he intended to step down from his role as CEO. In a rare display of vulnerability, he shared openly about how he could better serve the organisation in another role that draws on his strengths.
