A head-on collision between two light rail transit (LRT) trains in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on that fateful Monday evening on 24th of May resulted in 213 injuries, 47 of whom suffered serious injury.

Most baffling to the public was the handling of the situation by then chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, who failed to convey his compassion for the victims of the incident during his press conference.
